Guess what?

I'm getting the TV after all. Psyche.
Neither one downstairs (mine or the sisters) works with it: it only has the aerial plug.

Go new TV :D

My parents... are NUTS!

But I love them.
Heres an excerpt from my msn convo with steph:
Lofwyr says:
Today, at about 3pm, I havent gone to uni and I'm home when the parents arrive, rudely interrupting my fighting of crime. Anyway, I hear my Dad say "We brought you a present." Okay. Not unusual, they usually bring back nifty things or shirts back from where they've been. So, I go up stairs and I immediately see two plastic bags. My Dad then says "We got one for Waiheke, and another one for you."
Stephanie says:
and . . . . . .
Lofwyr says:
Right, so these bags arent bags at all on closer inspection. Someone has taken their largest bag, sliced in half perfectly, then cellotaped the two bits of plastic around the box, giving them two plasticy type handles, while the box sticks out a good 10 cm from the old bottom of the bag. Whats in the box? A DVD player. For my room.
Stephanie says:
WOOT.
Lofwyr says:
Funny thing is, I say "You know, this prolly wont work with my TV, seeing as its so old and everything." What does Dad say? "Oh, no worries, we'll buy you another tv if this doesnt work with the one you have already."
Lofwyr says:
:o
Lofwyr says:
My parents... are teh nuts
Lofwyr says:
I never get this treatment for my birthday or Christmas
Stephanie says:
But in a GOOD GOOD way
Lofwyr says:
Just randomly.
Lofwyr says:
Oh, I'm not saying my parents suck or anything. On the contrary, they're nuts, but they're MINE!
I know I mentioned something about taking a photo of Alex's gift, but the damn photo wont release the goodness! So I shall have to wait a bit until I figure out how (read: find the damn disc)
So yeah, in closing: I love my parents. I know where I get my nutcaseness from. :)
I hate my camera. Damn technology.

And now... it all comes together...

After a horrible shit of a week with the threat of several more to come, today is hopefully going to be one of the better days. Its Alex's birthday and Kellys birthday party. Of all things, its a pajama party... whats worse is than we cant turn up and get changed. Oh no. I gotta ride the freakin bus with them on. Good thing I have baggy clothes than can go over them. Sneaky sneaky.
I have also completed Alex's present. I shall provide another update specifying its goodness. Bwahahah.
And Kelly shall finally get her trinket from moi.
But for now... time to fight crime.

NINJA VANISH!
